Formation in three stems is possible, but usually 1-2 are left. Plants need support and garter, removal of excess lateral shoots. Strongly growing bushes are able to "muffle" other crops, so a lot of space is allocated for the Anna German variety. From the moment of emergence to the first ripeness, 110-115 days pass. The yield is high, the bunches are removed until the very frost.

Excellent taste, tomatoes are used in fresh salads. The fruits are fleshy, sweet with a slight sourness. Many people compare the Anna German variety with the late-ripening Wonder of the World, the description of the cultures has much in common.

Planting and care in the open field

Seedlings are planted at the age of 60–65 days. For 1 sq. m no more than four indeterminate plants. Despite the fact that the Anna German variety is rarely sick, thickening can cause fungal diseases. The harvest in such conditions ripens more slowly and it is much more difficult to care for planting a tomato.

To strengthen the root system, the stem is deepened by 5–10 cm. The seedling is placed “lying down”, sprinkling the lower part of the trunk with soil. The method was developed by the breeder I.M. Maslov.

Tomatoes are capable of rooting their shoots, so vertical arrangement is not entirely natural for this culture. Tomatoes do not have "antennae" clinging to the support. Some gardeners leave the lowest stepchildren, bending them to the ground, you can increase the feeding area of the bush.

have antennae

In the open field, the tall Anna German variety needs protection from the wind, greenhouse plants must be ventilated. During the growing season, indeterminate tomatoes are fertilized and watered moderately so as not to cause excessive growth of green mass. Calculation of water: 0.5 l per bush. Watering is carried out after the top layer of soil or a layer of mulch has dried. The watering rate is increased to 2 liters, when the fruits become at least 3 cm in diameter.

Grassing tomatoes

The first flower cluster in indeterminate tomatoes is laid after 9–11 leaves. The first stepson will develop in the leaf axil under this brush. The lower leaves begin to be removed at the end of May. The entire stem up to the first flower cluster is left completely free of foliage - this stimulates the flow of nutrients to the growing ovaries.

flower brush

At one time, no more than three leaf plates are removed, a larger amount can provoke stress and stop the formation of fruits. Stepson takes care of every 10 days. One liana of the Anna German variety lays 5-7 full-fledged brushes per season. In August, the top point of growth is pinched and all small fruits are cut off.

With good care, up to 13 kg of the crop can be removed from one plant. Feedback from those who have tested bristle tomatoes Anna German is positive.
